God’s Plans

1 Corinthians 2:9 ESV

“But, as it is written, ‘What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”

God has incredible, glorious blessings and spiritual realities prepared for those who love Him. He has planned things so amazing our senses, and intellect, our hearts and minds, could never fully grasp or imagine what he has prepared for us. According to 1 Corinthians 2: 10-12: “these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God. 

We have no idea what God is going to do in our lives, but I guarantee that it will be for our profit, for our learning, for our blessing. God is setting things up for our tomorrow and next week even as we read this devotion. Let Him do what He is going to do, don’t force your will on God, let Him have His way and I guarantee if we will comply, we will be amazed.

Prayer:

Lord, have your way in me. What You have in store for me, my family, my friends and loved ones, I say bring it on, have Your will, and Your way. In fact, I say Lord, I need You to guide our footsteps, show us Your will, and teach us to follow hard after You. In Your name Lord Jesus, Amen!
