Jesus to the World

Genesis 1:26a ESV

“Then God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion (Hebrew: radah, which means to rule, govern…'”

We are God’s divine representation. We reflect God’s loving, orderly, and wise character. We were created by Him and for Him. Our responsibility is to be God’s representatives to all the world and everything in this world. God has sovereign power over His creation and He has delegated the authority to mankind to have dominion over all things.

My point is, since we were created by God, in His image, and for His purpose. Since He gave us dominion over the things of this earth. Shouldn’t we take the responsibility and be God to all that is in our circle of influence? So that they can see Jesus and come to know Him as Lord, Master, and Savior.

Prayer: Lord, we have a mandate, to be who you designed each of us to be. Stir up the gifts within us and use us for Your glory. In Your name, Lord Jesus, amen.
