Omniscience of God

Psalms 139:1-6 ESV

“O Lord, you have searched me and known me!You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether. You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me.Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it.”

To most of us, it should be satisfying knowing that the God of this universe is all knowing. He knows that past, and He says that He has cast our sins as far as the east is from the west (Psalms 103:12). He knows what lies ahead and He does prepare our spirits to handle the future, even though sometimes were do not take refuge in Him when we see devistation coming. as often As I have seen it in people’s lives, devastation can overpower the spirit of a person and cause them to become overtaken with grief and sorrow to the point where they cannot move forward. God is all knowing. Lean on Him, trust Him, walk with Him and He will carry us through every situation. God knows everything at all times, seek His vast wisdom and knowledge. When we do search His ways, He guards our hearts and minds and strengthens our spirits.

Prayer:

Lord, I lean on You this morning. You know what lies ahead in my life. Prepare me for every hill and valley, for every bump in the road as well as times of plenty. Teach me to trust You more. In Your name Lord Jesus we ask, Amen!
