Amazing

Philippians 2:6-7 NIV

“Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, He (Jesus) made Himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross!”

It’s amazing to me that the creator of the universe came to this earth to bring us back in right relationship with the Holy Father. It’s amazing to me that He came back as a baby and went through the same hurts, pain, growing pains that we had. It’s amazing to me the He endured the pains of having stepbrothers and sisters and He did it with grace. Those same siblings were mostly unbelievers of who He was right up into their adult lives. It’s amazing to me that He put up with the religious leaders, ignorant people that mistreated Him, not knowing that He created them. It’s amazing to me that Jesus washed the nasty feet of the disciples to show that He was a servant not just the Lord of all. It’s amazing to me that He allowed Roman soldiers to mock Him, beat Him unmercifully, and then He died for the salvation of those who mistreated Him, as well as for the Amazing

Jesus, You are amazing. I’m in awe of You this morning and every day. I’m amazed how much You loved us and all mankind. I’m amazed at what You did and what You said to bring me life, real life, everlasting life. Thank You Lord Jesus, Amen!
