He Has Seen What We see and Overcame
Hebrews 4:15 ESV
“For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
This life is not always easy, there are times of troubles and despairs, sorrows and pains, but we have someone on our side that has seen it and triumphed beautifully. That is Jesus Christ the Son of God that lived just like we live. He had family issues, He had people that questioned his legitimacy at conception and birth, he had people that wanted to kill Him as a child. He spent His whole time as a Teacher, Rabbi, Redeemer, the Son of God under questions, accusations and eventually He was tortured and murdered. He was even accused of being demonic. He did it all as a human and He overcame.
The way we overcome is by going to Jesus, placing our life in His hands, receiving His strength, courage, and the ability to get beyond life’s problems. My best advice when things are hard? “…with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
Prayer:
Lord, we died with You, now we live through You. Strengthen us in our needs, provide Your grace and mercy that we can see over the horizon of our obstacles and see redemption, knowing that there is hope in our times of need. In Your name Lord Jesus, Amen!
