Fear is a Liar

Psalms 34:4 NIV
“I sought the Lord, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears.”

One night I could not sleep, so I got up and went to the living room to watch some TV. As I walked around in the darkness it felt odd almost heavy. It was as if someone or something was in the room.

In my mind, I knew God never works through fear, only satan works through fear. So I knew my God was in control, He works through our faith in Him. I quickly took my mind off of the heaviness and planted my thoughts on God, that God is my shield and rampart, a very present help in times of trouble. (Psalms 46)

The place that I was standing is our home that God provided. Satan or his thoughts had no place in my home because my home is protected by God and His holy angels.

Satan is a liar, fear is a liar, and they will tell us that danger is all around. This world is full of people that seek harm at every level, but I refuse to live in fear of the unknown, that is how satan traps us, to fear the unknown.

This morning, seek the Lord in faith, faith is the realm where God dwells. Believe God wants to deliver us from all trouble and fear. Fear is a liar!

Prayer:
Lord, deliver us from all of our fears. Help us to walk by faith in You, live by faith in You, and trust You with our lives and the lives of our family, loved ones and friends. In Your name Lord Jesus, Amen!
