“Asking”
John 15: 7 ESV
“If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.”

Please understand that Jesus was talking to the inner circle of His disciples, those whom He had a very close relationships with. If I have found out anything in my life about asking God for things, the closer the relationship, the purity of motives and in accordance to His will is where I have to be.
