Ever-Present Help

Psalms 46:1 ESV

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”

This Psalm points to safety and protection that cannot be penetrated by outside threats. A refuge is a shelter, or fortress that cannot be broken into by the enemy.

God as our strength, He is the one we can count on to fight our battles. God has defeated our enemy and God has all the power to defeat the enemy in our walk with God.

As our ever-present help in times of trouble, God is always with us , in use, and working through us. There is no place on this earth that we could go that God will not be there. Never feel alone, never feel like you are too weak, our God is able!

Prayer:

Lord, in You I trust, in You I rely, in You I find my peace. Even when things go wrong and there are those who are against me. You are my strength, You are my stronghold, You are my everything. In your name Lord Jesus, amen.
