The Next Generation

Psalm 71:17-18 ESV

“O God, from my youth You have taught me, and I still proclaim Your wondrous deeds. So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim Your might to another generation, Your power to all those to come.” 

As I get older, I wonder if I have conveyed His truths enough. If I have done enough, lead enough, inspired others enough. My only hope and prayer is that I can impart wisdom to those who are around me and in turn, inspire the next generation, and possibly inspire “Gen Z”, those born from 1997-2010. The Generation after Gen Z is Generation Alpha, those who were born from 2010-2024. Many have said that “Gen Z”, in part, has turned to the Lord because they want the truth. I pray that it is true. The “Baby Boomers” are still very active in the church, but in order to take the Gospel to the world, we need “Gen Z”, and Generation Alpha to catch the fire of the Holy Spirit. Pray with me that God will catch the hearts of Gen Z and Generation Alpha. We need for the next generations to catch the truth of the Gospel and take it to the world.
