Praying for Others
Philippians 1:3 ESV
“I thank my God every time I remember you.”
I have people saying to me all of the time, “I thought of someone today that I haven’t seen in years,” and they think it’s a coincidence. I dare to say as Christians it is probably not a coincidence; it is the prompting of the Lord. I try to pray for people that come to my mind during the day because I think the Father is sending those people’s names or the image of their faces to me for that purpose, to pray for them, to lift them up, to bind the enemy from their lives. Today as you go along and people come to your mind, lift them up in prayer as you would want others to do that for you. Then thank God for using you to further the kingdom; He loves using us for His will and His purpose.
Prayer:
Lord, as we walk along today, speak to our hearts and our minds. Bring to us needs for the body of Christ today so we can pray for those needs. Send us the names for the faces of people today that You want us to lift up in prayer and to rebuke the devourer from their lives. In Your name Lord Jesus we pray, Amen!
