There is None Like You

Matthew 11:28-29 ESV

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”

This verse is a beckon call from the Master. He says for us to come to Him, even when life seems hard. A good friend reminded me of a song the other day that keeps playing in my mind, “No One Ever Cared for Me Like Jesus”. No one knows what you are going through like Jesus does. He not only knows that you are going through hard times, He has a way out, just trust Him. We often feel like we can come up with the right solution, given enough mental anguish and time, but I have a short cut, go to Jesus. Jesus is saying to you this morning, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Rest may not be what you think you need, but the Master knows best that resting in Him will give you the answers that you need. Trusting in Him, leaning on Him, walking with Him will bring the answers that you need.

Prayer:

Lord, no one ever cared for me like You and the Father, no one else could take the darkness from me like You and the Father. O how much You have cared for me all the days of my life. As I recall bits and portions of my life, I see Your footprints next to mine. I see the times that You held me close, and I see the times that You watched me wonder off, but I was never out of your care. There is no one who has cared for me like You! I Love You Lord, Amen!
