Until the Storm Passes Over
Psalms 46:1-3 ESV
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth give way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah”
I believe we can get the idea of this verse. Basically, no matter what is thrown at us, we can handle it as long as we have God. Times may look bad, sound bad, things don’t work out right., but God will still see us through. In Florida we have been through some pretty bad Hurricanes, but we rebuild, better and stronger. Each storm we face personally, we hide in God our refuge and strength and we get stronger. He builds something in us that gives us peace in the storm and a knowledge that when this storm is over, we’ll go on because that is what He puts in us to get stronger in our God. We become more resilient, even more powerful because of His presence. It builds a trust in us when God brings us through the storms.
Prayer:
Lord, times may look bad, but they have been worse. Things may sound bad, but I still hear Your still small voice. I see You through every heart break, through every tear I cry and through every trial. You are my hiding place! In Your name Lord Jesus, Amen!
