Lord I Believe

John 20:26-29

“Then Jesus told him (Thomas when He doubted that Jesus was alive), “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

We have not seen the Lord, personally, but we still believe. There has been times in our lives that we had to walk by faith, we had to trust God even though the answer may not have seen evident at the time. When the answer did come through, I’m sure there was a sigh of relief, but can we ever doubt God that He will answer, even when it is not in the way that we had hoped?

We have told others to hold on and believe, even when it seemed impossible. They could not see the answer but because we had been in their shoes before, we know that the answer is on the way. Their faith may not have been strong, but your faith helped them carry on until the answer came. 

Blessed are those who have not seen the answer yet, but they still believe that the answer is in God’s hands.

Prayer:

Lord, because we have experienced times where our faith was all that we had, we hold on, we wait for Your perfect timing. You are all we have in hope. We choose to trust You.  In Your name Lord Jesus, Amen!
