No Weapon

Isaiah 54:17 ESV
“But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord; their vindication will come from me. I, the Lord, have spoken!”

This promise was to Israel from God when He came to avenge His children, we are His children as well. When God comes to restore us, He promises that no matter what the enemy brings, He can crush them. God says that whatever the weapon is, lies, accusations, troubles strife, pain, sorrow, it will not take root, it will not harm us if we will look to God and trust Him.

God will bring vindication. The person or persons that speak lies about us will be silenced. That means when we get our eyes off of the wicked and on to God and He will silence the lies and the accusers.

1 Peter 2:15 says, “For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people.”

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 says, “. “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ…”

Prayer:
Lord, we have no power to defeat the enemy, only You can do that. Our job is to stand in Your might, that we can do. Today Lord, no weapon formed against us shall prosper, silence the adversary that accuses us. In Your name Lord, Amen!
