Every Word of God Proves True!

Proverbs 30:5 ESV
“Every word of God proves true; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.”

As we have seen in the many years that the Bible was written, every word of God is true. There are about 2500 prophecies in the Bible. Scholars believe 2000 of those prophecies have been fulfilled in perfect detail.  500 prophecies will be fulfilled in the end times leading up to and including the rapture and tribulation period.

Somewhere between 200 and 400 prophecies of Jesus Christ have been fulfilled by His conception, birth, life, death, and resurrection.  But what about the promises of God to His people and those who would become His people by believing and subsequently living for Jesus Christ?

There are over 7000 promises of God in the Bible, some scholars say over 8000. Promises for protection, peace, and rest. Promises that He will be a shield, like this promise in Proverbs, and the list goes on and on.  God has what you need. Why don’t you take a look into His word and see what He has for you today?

Thank You Lord, for giving to me Your great salvation. It cost You Your life, but it brought me true life and meaning. Thank You, and thank You for the promises given to me through Your word. As I open up Your word today to read what You have for me, fill me with the power of Your word. In Your lovely name Lord Jesus, Amen!
