What is Mankind

Psalms 8:3-5 ESV
“When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him? Yet you have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor.”

David was amazed at God’s handy work, the moon, the stars, the sun and the heavens, the mountains and the seas. David did not know but a fraction of what we know about the universe with all its planets, galaxies, and solar systems.

Scientist say it would take 40 billion years to reach the end of the universe. Our God created it all, but still considers mankind His greatest creation. Of all the beauty that this world holds our heavenly Father considers us His prized possession.

Over half the world does not want a relationship with our Mighty God. Yet He still loves all of them. What a Great Father, Creator and Master! The God that created all things wants us to come in close fellowship with Him. Remember He created us in His image, after His likeness. He deserves all our honor, praise and allegiance.

Prayer:
Father, You are Majestic and the work of Your hands are so beautiful and awe inspiring. How blessed and highly favored we are just to be a part of Your creation, but even greater, You desire to walk with us in the cool of the day, as You did with Adam. Father, I want to closeness with You! In Your name Father, Amen!
