Jesus Cares

John 11:32-33 ESV
“Now when Mary came to where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet, saying to him, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.”  When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in his spirit and greatly troubled.”

There is no way Jesus sees our predicaments of life and is not hurting when we are hurting or feels great compassion when you are suffering. Could He have stopped this pain or prevented the pain that Mary was feeling? The answer is unequivocally yes!

But, Jesus had a greater lesson to teach all those who were experiencing this troubled time with Mary and Martha, and the billions that would read the account through the 2000 years since that day. Jesus is the source of life and everyone needed to understand that. He is the Resurrection and the Life.

He came and lived in an earthly body to show us the way to the Father. To lead us in truth, and show compassion for us because He too suffered in the flesh like we do. Plus, to show us there is no reason to fear death when Jesus promises eternal life with Him, the Father and the Holy Spirit.

To believe in Jesus, to trust in Him removes all fear of death and what we imagine it to be. Jesus has taken away the sting of death and the and the fear of dying and seperated from Him forever. He knows when we hurt, He sees every tear that falls and He has a plan, trust Him!

Prayer:
Lord, there is no one else we can turn to, You care for us and You see every tear that falls. You alone have the gift of eternal life.You have taken away the fear of death and all it holds. Through You we live and move and have our being (exist). In Your name Lord, Amen!
