Psalms 25:3 AMP
“Indeed, none of those who [expectantly] wait for You will be ashamed…”

First, understand the inflection on the word wait, wait-expectantly. Our answer is on its way. Whatever we need whether it is answers or physical substance or healing, wait on the Lord, I guarantee He is moving heaven and earth to provide, but with human nature it just takes time sometimes.

We are impatient people, we want what we want when we want it, but God knows what we need better than we do. When He answers prayers, He doesn’t just give us everything we want instantaneously. He has to prepare our hearts, minds and spirits to fit into His plan. As He said in Deuteronomy 28, if we will just obey, “all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you.”

Obedience is not an option, it’s required. Back to waiting, waiting on God is not always easy but it is rewarding. We’ve seen this word before in scriptures such as; “They who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength…” (Isaiah 40:31)

-Or-

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you…” (2 Peter 3:9) Waiting is not easy but when we are waiting on God, it is rewarding.

Prayer:
Father, I know You have my best interest at heart I know You always listen and that You always provide. Teach me to trust You more.
