Psalms 127:1 ESV

“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.”

Unless God is involved with our plans, our work and even our play time, it will all be in vain. Whether it is a job that God has not gifted us for or a ministry that God didn’t ordain, we are bound to not be sucessful. This will hold true in every aspect of life, if God is not the provider, the gifted, Or that one who blesses it, we are bound to fail.

The same principle can be said of the watchman or watchwoman, if we have not given our house, spouse, children, grandchildren, our work, our finances or our investments to God, the watching and protecting that we try to provide will be in vain.

Prayer:
Father, I give my life, my family, my home, my career, my finances to You. Without you I can do nothing, nothing at all.
