John 1:12-13 ESV

“But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His name,  He gave the right to become children of God, who were born,  not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.”

Sometimes we feel like we don’t belong or we feel like we don’t matter. But nothing could be further from the truth. God loves us, more than anyone that we know. He gave us everything and He moved heaven and earth to show us His love.

What did we do to deserve His love, nothing really, He loves us without doing anything. But, when we receive Him, when we believe Him, He gives us the right to be children of God. That opens up so many doors of opportunity for us and He gives us everything we need for life and godliness. (2 Peter 1:3) So, if we feel alone, we are not alone, He is right beside us and in us. If we feel forgotten, we are not forgotten, He sees every Sparrow that falls and He cares about us much more than sparrows.

Father, thank you for caring, thank you for loving me even when I don’t feel loved. Thank you for making me part of your family!
