Hebrews 10:24-25 ESV
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”
This is not a condemnation, this is an exhortation. In these hard and evil days we have to be available. We have to be available to encourage, lift up and strengthen one another. Sometimes that means letting people see you, letting people talk, and be willing to listen to them.
As times become more troubled, and they will, we have to be there for each other. Make the effort, put in the time, make the commitment to let people see you, and when they see you, have a good word to give them.
Prayer:
Father, these are hard times. We need you most of all but we also need each other. I will make the commitment and make the effort to be available to others. I make the commitment to be a partner in the ministry of the gospel of Christ and do what I need to do to encourage my brother’s and sisters in Christ.
