Mark 3:20-21 ESV
“Then he (Jesus) went home, and the crowd gathered again, so that they could not even eat.  And when his (Jesus’s) family heard it, they went out to seize him, for they were saying, “He is out of his mind.”

People do not like change, the scribes, Pharisees and the “religious right”. They especially did not want to hear what Jesus had to say, even though His words were from the Father.

Even Jesus’s own family thought He was crazy. They thought this same person that they grew up with had gone off the deep in. It will be the same for us in this wicked world in which we live. We serve a God we cannot see, we worship a Savior that died on a cross, and we hang our whole hope on the fact that our Savior rose from the dead. People will call us crazy, but that should only intensify our message, because we know what is true!
