Proverbs 3:5-6 ESV
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
Most of the time we can find self confidence, but when things get tough we seem to loose some of that confidence, so we seek external help. Self confidence is good but only as good as the. Relationship we have with Father God.
Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived in his time knew this first hand in his own life, when he got his eyes off of God and started trusting in his own judgment, his personal life and his kingdom began to crumble. Trust in the Lord, in all our ways, acknowledge Him first and most Supreme, then our paths will be straight, then we will have good success.
