Lamentations 3:21-23 ESV

“But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning…”

Everyday of the new year 2021 remember; God’s love never ceases, it will not diminish, it does not fade, it will never end. It doesn’t matter how we feel or how we think, or when was the last time we felt His love. His love is there in the highs and the lows. It is just as fresh, just as new and just as plentiful now as it was when we were in our mother’s womb.

I experience God’s mercies every day when I step out of my house, when I get in my truck and drive down the freeway, every time I take a breath and every time I call on His name. I’m amazed that He puts up with mankind and doesn’t just wipe us out from the earth, but His love and mercy just keep on coming!

In His love and mercy He does not think about yesterday, that’s gone. He loves despite yesterday and last year! His love and mercy are fresh this morning. Happy New Year!
