“And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger…”

Jesus was born in humble beginnings. There is no pressure to accept the story or to accept the gift from our Heavenly Father, there is no pressure to receive Jesus Christ as the Savior, but it is a free gift that comes with benefits.. To receive Jesus means that God is going to dwell in us, and with us forever and we will live with Him in paradise forever.

It means that we will have the Prince of peace dwelling in us always. Its the perfect gift that never wears out. It’s new every morning. This gift can be accepted or rejected, but to accept this gift of God in flesh, means life, joy, peace, and contentment forever. For those who have accepted this gift, today is like an anniversary that reminds us of a special gift that was given 2000 years ago.
