Unconditional Love

Psalms 103:8-11 AMP

“The Lord is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger and abounding in compassion and lovingkindness. He will not always strive with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins [as we deserve],

Nor rewarded us [with punishment] according to our wickedness. For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear and worship Him [with awe-filled respect and deepest reverence].”

God never abandons us as orphans; He never shows partiality by blessing some and shunning others. It is true there are some who seem to have the favor of God on their lives more than others, that is just God’s way of lavishing His love on those who fear Him, who have seen the value of awe-filled respect and deepest reverence toward God. God will do the same for everyone who gives Him their all without holding back any part of their lives. God is a gracious God, loving us even when we were in sin, so much so that He gave His Son for our ransom. His Son bought us back and gave us back to God, redeemed and highly favored.

This morning worship our Father with awe-filled respect and our deepest reverence. Praise Him for His love and mercy toward us. Give Him our full praise and our whole lives without holding anything back from Him. Then we will sense His compassion and lovingkindnes.

Prayer:

Lord, we give You our all. Your sacrifice for our redemption was so great and so amazing. It’s hard to understand that kind of unconditional love. To love someone who is vile and full of sin is unheard of, yet incredible. Lord, make us an instrument of Your love, grace, and mercy. Give us the ability to give unconditional love. In Your name Lord Jesus we ask, Amen!
