Whatever We Do

Colossians 3:23-25 ESV

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality.”

Paul says in this passage “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward.” Too often people want to be rewarded by their own extortion instead of charging a fair price and trusting God to bless them. Take note of what we do and how we do it, is it fair, or are we taking advantage of people? Would the Lord agree that it is fair?

As we serve the Lord, we have to believe we will be rewarded for our good work and our fairness and give glory to God by our fairness.

Prayer:

Lord, You are all knowing, all seeing, and You see our hearts. Make our business with others be in fairness and love as working until You. In Your name Lord Jesus, Amen!
