Teach Me

Psalms 86:11-12 ESV

“Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name. I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify your name forever.”

David, in his old age was still asking God to teach him His ways. Even now David is desiring more of God in his life. Even now David is desiring for truth and more reverential fear of Who God is.

That encourages me to keep pressing in to God. That encourages me to seek more of the wisdom of God, even until the day He calls me home.

Prayer:

Lord, teach me Your ways. Draw me closer to Your side, Lord. I press my heart, mind, soul, and spirit to seek wholeheartedly after You. In Your name, Lord Jesus, amen.
