Change

Romans 12:2 ESV
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

Change is never easy. In this passage, Paul speaks of changing our lives by renewal in God. First, Paul says don’t be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of our minds. To me that means breaking habits that are not good for us. Then we start working on a transformation by renewing our minds through God.

The mind is a battlefield, Satan puts so much in front of us, and we get confused of who we are and what we are supposed to be. To break the cycle, we transform our mind through God’s Word and through communication with God. If we follow this process, we will be able to please God.

Prayer:

Lord, it’s not easy to change and only you can help me to transform from mere human being led down a path of destruction, to being Your child led by the Spirit of the Almighty God. Intervene in my life, Lord, amen.
