Sensibility 

Psalms 119:69-70 AMP

“The arrogant have forged a lie against me, But I will keep Your precepts with all my heart. Their heart is insensitive like fat [their minds are dull and brutal], But I delight in Your law.”

Sensibility is discerning, capturing the essence of wise judgment. This person will be prudent taking time to assess situations with caution. They will be self-controlled able to be in charge of all their senses and feelings. They will be patient, being able to wait for God’s perfect timing. They will be humble understanding they are subject to God’s Spirit.

For us, God’s children, despite what  people say about us, we will keep God’s words with all our hearts. There is no room to be like our accusers are. In fact our delight is in the law of God, we feel joy, peace, and the presence of God in God’s words.

Prayer:

Lord, many are the words of those who oppose You. Bring their words back on themselves and avenge Your children. Help us to find shelter in Your arms, and peace, and contentment in Your words. In Your name, Lord Jesus, we pray, amen.
