Where I Stand

Psalms 18:36 ESV

“You enlarge my steps under me, And my feet have not slipped.”

God was faithful to David; He subdued the enemies, conquered foes, and captured powers by His righteous arms. David felt secure in God, his Savior and Victor. So much so that David said that God gave him the footing that he needed to stand in battle and the footing that he needed to subdue his enemies.

As always, God breaks restraints, removes obstacles, and secures a firm foundation for us to walk on spiritually and with authority in this life. We too have the power of God with us to drive out the enemy and to place us in a place where we sense His peace and contentment.

Prayer:

Lord, You have enlarged our steps so that we feel secure in Your care. There is no need for us to fear because You have set us in a place where You surround us and we have confidence in You. In Your name, Lord Jesus, we praise and lift You up, Amen!
