God is Always There

Isaiah 41:10 ESV

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

God’s words to Isaiah were to reassure the Israelites during their exile in Babylon that their suffering is temporary and God will sustain them.

This verse serves as a reassurance to those who feel isolated or anxious. The meaning embedded in this verse encourages believers to trust in God’s unwavering presence and strength. God says fear not because when we get our eyes off of God, fear of anything typically fills the void. He said, “I am with you,” and “I am your God,” expressing to us that there is a relationship with us as our Father. He said, “Be not dismayed,” as if our hope was gone, but God is and has always been there for us. He said, “I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will hold you with my righteous right hand, indicating His divine love as the Father that He is.

Prayer:

Father God, I praise You this morning because You are here. You have always been here for me. Even when I have wandered off, You were there. Even when I doubted Your protection, You were there. Even when I was walking in the valley of the shadows of evil, You were there. Thank You, Father God, for Your love, guidance, and Your peace, in Jesus name, Amen!
