Let Our Words Be Few

Ecclesiastes 5:2 ESV

“Be not rash with your mouth, nor let your heart be hasty to utter a word before God, for God is in heaven and you are on earth. Therefore let your words be few.”

This word was written by Solomon as a word to be mindful of the words that we speak. The broader message is that King Solomon wanted His readers to seek wisdom, understand the cycles of life, and live in awe of God. We need to think before we speak.
