In Just the Right Moment

“A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold In settings of silver.”

Most people have no idea what all the fuss is about with golden apples in a silver bowl or on a silver platter. Solomon thought it was beautiful, and inviting to the tast.

Let me put this in an image that we can understand. A word spoken at just the right time, to a achieve just the right purpose is like a fresh cool breeze on a hot, humid Florida day, it is refreshing.

Many are waiting for the right words, the right answer, the right vindication, the right reward that will pick them up and bring them hope. Encourage someone, let them know you are standing in the gap with them. Let them know you are praying relentlessly for them, that you will help them through their difficulties.

How often have we waited for answers from God, and someone came along and said to us, “I believe God is going to grant your request?” That is the breath of fresh air! Be the fresh cool breeze to someone today. Encourage them, give them hope, let them know that you love them, that you are standing with them, waiting for the answer with them.

Prayer:
Lord, let me be that person today that has a fresh word from You, that I can give it away to bless someone else. In Your name Lord Jesus, Amen!
