John 16:22 ESV

“…you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.”

Our sorry is because we are separated from our Lord physically but certainly not Spiritually. That sorry will be swallowed up in joy when we see Him face to face. Because we have received Him into our hearts and lives, no one can take that security away from us. We have been sealed by the Holy Spirit for the day when we will be with Jesus forever and no one can take away our joy and expectation of being with Him forever.
