Psalms 19:14 NKJV

“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.”

Today, if we ask God to let our words and our thoughts line up with His perfect will, then we have to speak words of life and edification and our thoughts have to be acceptable as if we were saying them out loud for everyone to hear.

Easy to ask, but hard to do. It takes carefulness not to use idol words and it takes intent of the heart to keep our thoughts in line with God’s purpose and plan. Father, let the words we speak today be sanctioned by You! Let our thoughts bring your praise!
