Appetite for Righteousness

Matthew 5:6 ESV

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.”

For those who want all of God, and all of that God has for them, we seek His Kingdom. His kingdom is a dominion that reigns in our hearts and lives. This same kingdom is where we find all the blessings and attributes of God. We also seek after His righteousness to live and prevail in us. His righteousness is His holiness but it is also our right standing with Him, His favor. We desire more of Him each day. He is not just an entity, He is our all in all. We know that all good things come from Him, and we seek Him relentlessly. Because our quest is His kingdom and His righteousness, we will be satisfied.

Prayer:

Lord, we want all of You and all that You have for us. We depend on You. We depend on Your righteousness, Your truth and Your standards. We seek right standing with You Lord, Your divine favor. In Your name, Lord Jesus, we seek You, Amen!
