Erase and Replace

Romans 12:2 ESV

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

I know life has not always been good for a lot of people. Some have had difficult childhoods, some difficult marriages and others have been burdened with anxieties and fears. I personally have memories that have plagued my thoughts for years.

We all know we can’t change the past but we can change the future. I give to you this morning, erase and replace. Erase the bad memories, erase the failures, erase the sorrows that keep on hurting and replace them with new thoughts and beautiful memories, joys of the Lord, His loving kindness, and refreshing Spirit. Times that brought true love, times when blessings came into our lives, times when we could feel the power and the anointing of God. Times when we see the blessings of God, and look forward to great things in the future with our Lord.

Prayer:

Lord, Isaiah said, “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” (Isaiah 26:3) Help me Lord, I do trust in You. Erase the negative thoughts and keep my mind stayed on You! In Your name, Lord Jesus, I’m looking for a future of hope, Amen!
