Hebrews 11:3 NIV

“By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.”

Faith is so important, because God can make anything happened, even if it does not exist yet. Trusting faith is the faith that says, God I’m asking Your will be done in me, but at the same time I’m trusting, believing, resting on the fact that You are a loving gracious and merciful God. You love and You do not withhold. You give graciously and plentifully.

Hebrews 11:5 and 6 say, “By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death: “He could not be found, because God had taken him away.” For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God. 6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.”

No one had ever heard that God could do that, take someone to heaven without dying, but our God can do anything even far beyond our thinking. What was the testimony of Enoch before he was taken? Enoch pleased God. When we please God, God can do anything in our lives. Just as important is the phrase, “…without faith it is impossible to please God.”

Prayer:

Lord, I seek You and I seek Your grace and mercy. Let my faith and assurance be in You and in You alone. You can move mountains in my life, all my faith is in You to do what You desire in me. In Your name, Lord Jesus, I ask, Amen!
