Guarantee 

Ephesians 1:13-14 ESV

“In Him (Jesus) you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in Him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.”

When we heard the Good News that Jesus loves us and that He laid down His life for our sins and was resurrected on the third day to give us a new life in Christ, and we accepted Him as Lord and Savior, we received a seal, a guarantee. We all understand a guarantee, except in this life a guarantee comes with limitations and clauses. Our guarantee from the Lord is not revocable, there is no time limit, there is no clauses, just a guarantee that we are His forever and that one day soon we will be with Him forever. This guarantee shows the enemy that he cannot take away what the Lord has promised to us.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for living your life for our example. Thank You for dying on the cross for our sins, and thank you for coming back to life that we can live through You. Thank you for the irrevocable promise of salvation and for eternal life with You in eternity. Thank You for reassuring us this morning that we are Yours forever. In You name Lord Jesus, AMEN!
