The Price Jesus Paid for Our Redemption

Isaiah 53:5 AMP

“But He was wounded for our transgressions (moral sins, violating social norms, offenses), He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing]; The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him, And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed.”

This morning it is abundantly clear, Jesus came to save me, redeem me, to buy me back, to pay the penalty of my wrongs. Even things that I never knew that I did, He paid for those things. The things that I said and did to people, He paid for those things. When I thought I was in the right, but I was dead wrong, He paid for those things. Things that I thought, the things that I thought were just innocent mistakes, He paid for all of that. Even my attitudes, yes, He paid for that too. Make no mistake Jesus was on the cross on this day in history, but what I see in my spirit is my sins, transgressions, injustices, all of my wrongdoings nailed to the cross, completely wiped out, forgiven, paid in full, Thank You Jesus!

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for loving us so much that You were willing to die for us all. We know that even if we were the only ones that sinned, You still would have died for us. We are forever in Your service; we owe our all to You. In Your name Lord Jesus, Thank You!!! Amen!
