Showing Grace

1 Peter 4:10 NIV

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

As Thanksgiving comes and goes, have you noticed that America has basically skipped Thanksgiving and what it meant for early Americans and Indians? Don’t forget and move on to Black Friday and Christmas without thanking God for His blessings on us and our country. Even though there is a battle going on in America, we do not have to engage in that battle as Christians. Instead, pray for our country, pray for our citizens that a light would shine through the darkness, the light of Jesus. Pray for our leaders if you like them or you don’t, pray that they too will see the light.

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for all that you have done for this country, even though there is a battle raging, we are still blessed, we are still free, and we still can proclaim Your name openly! Thank you for allowing us to be born in a great nation, the greatest nation. Bless, heal, restore our country back to You. In Your name Lord Jesus we ask, AMEN!
