Christ Lives In Me
Galatians 2:20 AMP
“I have been crucified with Christ [that is, in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body I live by faith [by adhering to, relying on, and completely trusting] in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.”
Our self-reliance gets us nowhere, not really. We may think that we are invincible or at least we believe we can count on ourselves to think the right thoughts and find clarity within ourselves, but when that plays out, we realize what we have obtained is an act or action that gratifies ourselves.
What should we do? We die out to the old nature, (that which is crucified with Christ), then we start really living. When we allow Jesus to live in us and through us we are saying that we completely trust Jesus to help us in our thinking, in what we are saying and what we should be doing.
Prayer:
Lord, I’m on earth in the place that where You designed me to be. I won’t say that I have done everything that was right or haven’t done everything that glorifies You completely, but I’m here as a willing vessel for You to use me in the way that You want to in my life. You know what is best for me, You have a plan and a purpose Lord, that’s where I want to be, living for You, fulfilling Your plan for me. In Your name Lord Jesus I ask and pray, Amen!
