God Does Not Grow Weary

Isaiah 40:28-29 (ESV)
“Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.”

God does not get tired, not even when we try to do things on our own without His help. No, He stays with us, drawing us back to Himself, making a way for us to know Him and see the truth. He cannot fail, He will not change. His understanding is breathtaking. The vastness of the universe that He set in order is unimaginable. His wisdom and knowledge are beyond incredible. The intricacies of the human body that he created are beyond a miracle. Right down to the way our spiritual hearts make decisions He understands them, even if we do not understand ourselves. So, we should lean on Him, rest in Him, and walk with Him. The promise for doing that is at the end of this verse. It says, “He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might He increases strength.”

Prayer:

God, I’m so thankful that You stay with me, to lead and guide me, even if sometimes I may wander off of the path You have chosen for me. I keep reminding myself that You have seen the events of today and all the events of my life long ago and You have laid out a perfect path for me, the hard part is to keep me on that path. Thank You that You keep nudging me, keep strengthening me and keep showing me that Your way is perfect. In Your name Father God, Amen!
