God Knows Us Intimately 

Romans 8:29 ESV

“For those whom He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, in order that He might be the firstborn among many brothers.”

God has intimate, personal knowledge of individuals before they existed or chose Him, which implies a relationship of choice. Think about that; God knew us before we were born and He chose to have a personal relationship long before we existed. At this point we should all get up and shout “thank You God! Based on God’s intimate knowledge of us, He determined our future, our life and our purpose: He determined to make us in the image of His Son. That means at some point in our lives, and God knew the exact moment that we would accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, He would make us in the image of His Son, Jesus. The goal was transformation, becoming Christ-like in character, nature, and destiny, reflecting His divine qualities in us just like His Son.

Prayer: 

Lord, mold me and make me to be more like You every day of my life. To be like You Jesus, that’s all I ask, to be like You! In Your name Lord Jesus I pray with earnest, Amen!
