God’s Words

Psalms 119:11 NKJV

“Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.”

Regularly reading in God’s words, and receiving the meaning of what we have read is gaining wisdom. Allowing those thoughts to permeate our beings all day long, is hiding His word in our hearts. 

The scriptures are timeless. Many have bought into a lie of the enemy that the Bible is not relevant for today’s situations because scripture was written thousands of years ago. If the scriptures are interpreted correctly, the scriptures will teach, correct, enlighten, give divine instructions on life, love and right standing with God. Regular Bible reading, memorization, and meditation on God’s words helps us embed spiritual truths in our spiritual hearts. Our spiritual hearts is where the essence of life flows from.

Prayer:

Lord, Your words I will hide in my heart, so I know that what I say and do is by Your spirit and not my own feelings. I know that my feelings are deceptive and unreliable at times. Let Your words become alive within me. In Your name, Lord Jesus, I pray, amen!
