Overcoming Power

Revelations 12:11 NKJV

“And they overcame him (Satan) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony,  and they did not love their lives to the death.”

Make no mistake, our victory over Satan is all because of Jesus and His blood. The blood played an important part of the sacrifices of the Old Testament. In fact, God says in Leviticus 17:11 NKJV, “For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.”

The blood is the atonement for everyone’s sins, past present and future. Paul says in Colossians 1:20, “And through Him (Jesus) to reconcile to Himself ALL things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.”

The blood of Jesus and the words we use, testify of what Jesus has done for us.

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for the victory we have through Your blood. Thank you for the victory we gain when we use our words to tell of what Your Son has done for us. In Your name, Lord Jesus, never let us be silent with our testimony, amen.
