Psalms 37:37 ESV

“Mark the blameless and behold the upright, for there is a future for the man of peace.”

The Amplified Bible says it like this:

“Mark the blameless man (or woman) [who is spiritually complete], and behold the upright [who walks in moral integrity]; There is a [good] future for the man (or woman) of peace [because a life of honor blesses one’s descendants].”

This is a Psalm to live by. David says Mark or (keep watch) on a blameless person who has found their sufficiency in God and who walks in integrity, they have a hope and a future, and their descendants will be blessed because of their lifestyle.

If there was ever a statement to have on a billboard, it would be this verse.

Those who seek justice and peace, those who seek the favor of God in their lives, will have a legacy that will bless their descendants for a lifetime and point their descendants to Jesus for generations.

Prayer:

Thank You Lord for Your favor this morning. Thank You for Your blessings that will not only touch our lives but will touch our descendants’ lives. We will leave a legacy for them and show them the blessings in serving You, Amen!
