Mediator

1 Timothy 2:5-6 ESV
“For there is one God, and there is one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, which is the Testimony given at the proper time.”

There are a lot of foreign gods that people worship on earth. I saw a bumper sticker the other day that was basically asking that we learn how to co-exist with everyone’s god. Well, we do exist together but there is only one true God.

Beyond serving the ONLY true God, our God provided a mediator, His own Son. This mediator will always be there always going to the Father on our behalf and He is the only way to God.

Jesus said in John 14:6 that He is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him. There is no salvation in any other god and there is no other mediator between God and man, only Jesus Christ.

So, today, we have full access to God because of Jesus. Whatever You need, He can and will provide according to His perfect will. We are not serving a god, we are serving THE God.

Thank you Jesus for making a way to the Father. Thank You for full access to the Father, any time anywhere! I’m Your name Lord Jesus, Amen!
