A Masterpiece

Ephesians 2:10 Amplified
“For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].”

If this sounds amazing and almost too good to be true, that’s our God, above and beyond all we could ever imagine. His love for us is boundless, His thoughts of us are endless and always. He is amazing, indescribable and all powerful. Yet He took the time to fashion you with His own hands. He deems you a masterpiece, a work of art, a prized possession.

He loved you so much that He sat down and made a plan for your whole life. Although some may have gotten off course and wandered in the wilderness as it seems at times. But, He was always right there with you leading, guiding and directing your path back to Him and all that He has for you.

He takes great pride in you even when you do not take pride in yourself. He watches you in the night hours even as you sleep. In the morning, He has a plan for your day. The day may not always go as you planned but God is still clearing the way, directing your path.

It all makes sense to God even when it doesn’t make sense to you. He sees the pitfalls, He cries out a warning, but even when you walk through the valley, He is right there with you.

He has a will and a way, see with the eyes of possibilities and hope who you are to God. Listen intently to His voice, He is leading you in His way, and He is leading you to a good life.

Prayer:
Lord, we do not know how, why, or where, but You have all things laid out for us this morning. Help us to find You and Your ways in Your perfect will today. Your Kingdom come, Your will be done in us today. In Jesus name, Amen!
